The west lanes of Miramar Road are closed on Carroll Road after a car drove into a San Diego Gas & Electric crew.
According to the San Diego police, two people were injured in the collision at 8:24 p.m. One of the victims suffered minor injuries, the condition of the second is unknown, the SDPD said.
The crash also resulted in a diesel fuel spill, and a Hazmat crew had to be called to the scene of the accident to clean up the gas.
Officials are reversing traffic to the west and SDPD said the road will be closed for at least a few hours.
