The return of an international food festival brings chef-created menus, mixologists-made cocktails, artisanal beers and live music to SeaWorld as San Diego Marine Park waits to reopen fully after more than 11 months of coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

The Seven Seas Food Festival takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at SeaWorld San Diego from March 5 to May 2.

SeaWorld San Diego and other California theme parks are unlikely to be fully operational again by spring or summer under state-issued COVID-19 health and safety guidelines upon reopening.

SeaWorld has partially reopened for zoos and aquariums with stadium shows and animal exhibits, while rides and roller coasters will remain closed, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines. The park follows the now familiar “new normal” of COVID-19 health and safety protocols with mandatory face covering, temperature tests, social distancing, and improved disinfection.

The Seven Seas Food Fest offers 125 dishes, 75 beers and 25 cocktails and wines. Let’s take a closer look at what’s on the festival menu.

The craft beer from the San Diego area served at the festival includes Pizza Port, Stone, Ballast Point, Green Flash, AleSmith, Mikkeller, Mother Earth, Belching Beaver, Julian, Boochcraft, Thorn, Societe, Novo Brazil, Bitter Brothers, Duck Foot , Refuge, Mike Hess and Karl Strauss.

Reservations are required for the Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld San Diego. Tickets are $ 60 for a 10-pattern lanyard and $ 75 for a 15-pattern lanyard. SeaWorld San Diego Annual Pass holders receive three free samples with the purchase of the 15-sample lanyard. Seven Seas Lanyards can be used at market stalls or restaurants.
