Free Tickets, Live Music and Patriotic Fireworks – NBC 7 San Diego

SeaWorld San Diego honors those who serve or have served in the U.S. Forces during its Red, White and Blue Salute event. The two-week tribute runs now through November 14th.

The park opens every day with a flag ceremony and a national anthem. In addition, SeaWorld recognizes veterans in orca and dolphin shows during the two weeks.

Music performances:

Visitors can enjoy live music from local bands in the park. At the Red, White and Blue Greetings, young and great musicians are on stage on selected days.

  • Saturday November 6th: Valley Center High School Marching Band
  • Saturday November 6th: Marine Rock Band
  • Thursday November 11th (Veterans Day): US Marine Marching Band from San Diego

Patriotic fireworks:

The event ends 10 minutes before the park closes with a special Christmas fireworks demonstration. The glowing display is set to patriotic music and can be seen from several locations in the park.

  • Thursday, November 11th (Veteran’s Day) at 5:50 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 13th at 7:20 pm

Fireworks will illuminate the SeaWorld skyline during the park’s Red, White and Blue Salute event.

Waves of Honor program:

SeaWorld San Diego continues to offer free U.S. military veterans tickets for themselves and up to three guests visiting the park through December 24th.

This offer is part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment’s “Waves of Honor” program, which welcomes active members of the military, veterans and their families with special rates and promotions throughout the year.

U.S. military veterans and retirees must pre-register online and verify their proof of service.

Veterans and active military service members can also purchase up to six additional tickets at a 50% discount as an additional thank you for their service.
