It feels like things are looking up. The Balboa – a popular burger spot among San Diegans – has reopened. There are other dining options in Petco Park. There are new restaurants in San Diego. Eater San Diego shares these top stories of the week from our local food and drink scene.

The Balboa will reopen on Fifth Avenue

The popular bar, which also took up an adjoining space to double its seating, introduced a new cocktail menu and trimmed the menu down to focus on its best-selling burgers. And yes, they are still stacked to the max.
