Britney Spears celebrated her 40th birthday on Thursday with her fiancé, festive balloons, fireworks – and a few “tears of joy”.

The “Toxic” singer shared a video on Instagram showing some of her birthday parties. The clip, which is set to a remix of Madonna’s “Frozen”, shows a room decorated with balloons with “Happy Birthday Britney” written on them. Next, we see Spears fiance, actor, and trainer Sam Asghari open a bottle of sparkling wine on a private plane. On a table next to him is a beautifully decorated cake in the shape of the letter “B”.

The video ends with dozens of fireworks exploding in the night sky.

In her caption, Spears raved, “I am so blessed and thankful !!!! Tears of joy today … Thanks for all the birthday wishes 🥳🎂🎈🎉 !!!! Psss I didn’t even drink the champagne 🥂 no lie !!!! “

The Grammy winner also shared several pictures and videos of her and Asghari near the entrance of the plane, including several kissing.

In the caption of a post, Spears wrote, “Oh, the precious joy today !!! Me and my fiance are so excited to be leaving … … I’ve been training and it’s real … whatever 🤷🏼‍♀️💅🏼 !!!! “

“Thank god you can leave the country !!!! I am blessed !!!!” She added.

Spears enjoys her newfound freedom after being dismissed from her controversial 13-year-old conservatory on November 12 by a California judge.

Just days after the end of her conservatory, which was largely controlled by her father James “Jamie” Spears, Britney Spears shared cheering news on Instagram of her first weekend at liberty.

“I felt like I was on cloud nine the whole time ☁️ !!! I actually got my first glass of champagne 🥂 in the most beautiful restaurant I saw last night !!!! I am celebrating my freedom and my B day for the next two months !!!!!!!!!!!!! She wrote.

She then posted a video on Instagram celebrating the fact that she now has the keys to her own car and bank card again.

“Having an ATM card, seeing cash for the first time, being able to buy candles. It’s the little things for us women, but it makes a big difference and I’m grateful for that. It’s nice, it’s really nice,” said she .

At the end of November, Spears expressed her joy again and announced that she could switch to the “right medication” for an unspecified illness.

“That beautiful … beautiful … and warm f — blurry feeling of waiting patiently for 13 years to live your life the way you want and it’s finally here,” Spears wrote in an Instagram post . “And you might be surprised because my prayers are fucking strong, ESPECIALLY if you are on the right medication a month ago !!!!”

Spears added that it “feels so good to just BE HERE”.
