Country star Jimmie Allen shares an update on his newborn daughter’s health after experiencing any parent’s worst nightmare.
The “Best Shot” singer went on social media late Tuesday, November 23rd, calling out the “lazy doctors” who sent his five-week-old daughter Zara home when she was struggling to breathe. “Attention doctors,” he began, “when the parents of your one-month-old patient tell you that the child is breathless and your lazy self just wants to see [her] Heart and temperature find a different career. Your job is to save lives, so do it. “
“Thanks to the lazy doctors at a TN hospital who just sent our daughter home, our daughter Zara lost color, stopped breathing and is being admitted to another hospital,” he continued. “She can breathe again thanks to the great EMT team that brought Zara’s color back. It’s going to be a tough night.”
Attention doctors, if your one month old patient’s parents tell you the child is having difficulty breathing and the only thing your lazy self wants to do is check heart, heart and temperature, find another career. Your job is to save lives so do it.

Jimmie and Alexis, who tied the knot in May, announced the arrival of daughter Zara last month. “The new addition to our family is here and we couldn’t be happier to finally meet her,” he captioned an Instagram post on October 17th. “Alexis, you are a champion, I love you and I am so grateful to you.”
The country star is also the father of son Aadyn, 7, from a previous relationship.
