Mayim Bialik will reunite with her “Blossom” co-stars – and soon. “Whoa. That’s some big funny news,” she captioned a November 15th Instagram picture of her cover character all grown up … Are you as excited as I am ?! “
When will she bring our 90s dreams back to life? Well, on a second Instagram, the Big Bang alum – who starred on the NBC show from 1990 to 1995 – shared their reunion with former co-stars Joey Lawrence, Jenna von Oy and Michael Stoyanov during the premiere of the second season of Fox’s “Call Me Kat” on January 9th.
On “Blossom” the trio played their brothers or their best friend. And now, on Call Me Kat, they play versions of themselves and stop at Kat’s Cat Caf, which is owned by Mayim’s lead role.
Also, expect lots of callbacks on the original show. In the teaser, Mayims Kat introduces her guest stars to the delivery man Oscar (Christopher Rivas). “Oscar met the stars of my favorite TV show when I was growing up,” she says, forgetting Michael’s name. “That’s Joey and Jenna and …”
Plus, of course, she pays homage to the iconic style of Blossom and wears a hat with a giant yellow flower.
