SAN DIEGO (CNS) – The San Diego Public Library on Tuesday unveiled its “Discover and Go” program, which offers free single and family passes to several of San Diego’s top San Diego attractions, first come, served, to those with a valid library card first.
“Discover & Go is reducing the barriers local residents encounter when visiting San Diego’s arts and cultural sites,” said Library Director Misty Jones. “The free access that this program offers will enable even more people to enjoy the unique cultural experiences in and around San Diego.”
Participating venues include the San Diego Zoo, Museum of Us, New Children’s Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, Skateworld, and eight other locations.
The program is open to San Diego residents 16 years of age and older with a valid San Diego Public Library card. The limited passes can be reserved on the Discover & Go website or by visiting or calling one of the 36 SDPL locations.
Participants can choose from available passes based on attraction and date, print out or download the passes and take them to the venue on the day of the visit, along with a valid ID. New passes are added at the beginning of each month.
