In the sixth year of his residency at Liberty Station, the 25,000-square-foot Liberty Public Market begins a major expansion that will add nearly 6,000 square feet to its floor space and bring in a host of new grocery and retail tenants. In the Mess Hall, the indoor dining area and bar of the market, the space currently devoted to the Bottlecraft bottle shop will be expanded to sell wine and spirits, while the beer taps will be integrated into the central cocktail bar, which will be expanded in a remodel, this should be done by the beginning of 2022.

Despite a few stops and starts over the past two years, business in the Liberty Public Market has remained stable, says Matt Gordon, vice president of operations at Blue Bridge Hospitality, who tells Eater that the venue has been pre-covid for the past six years – Numbers occurred months.
