Congratulations to Seth and Alexi Meyers!
On Thursday night’s “Late Night” episode, the host announced that he and his wife recently welcomed a new addition to the family – a little girl!
Meyers, who invited his family to the set of his show for Thanksgiving, surprised the audience with the good news.
While they were filming a cute holiday clip of his two other children, sons Ashe (5) and Axel (3), and the family dog, who were dressed up as turkeys or pilgrims, the children revealed another costumed character. The beautiful little butterball that sat between them was none other than their brand new little sister.
“We had another one, guys!” announced the proud papa after the end of the video. “That is 10 weeks ago, my wife gave birth to a baby girl and I think it is only appropriate that you tell everyone what her name is.”
The “you” he was referring to was his own mother Hillary.
“Oh, my god, her name is Adelaide – Addie – after my mother,” she said, visibly touched. Although she shared the name, it did not come as a complete surprise. “I knew Seth and Alexi knew it had to start with an A, it had to be a cool name, and I know what family means to everyone.”
And now this family is a little bigger.
