A young South Florida woman who disappeared on a road trip last week was found in a California hospital, her mother said.
Isabella Marin, 21, who was last seen by family members on November 23, was in a hospital near Los Angeles, her mother said on Wednesday.
Mother Olga Jarrin said she was about to fly to California to see her daughter again.
Marin’s mother said her daughter left Fort Lauderdale on a road trip with her boyfriend last week, but didn’t tell her where she was going.
Marin’s friend Israel Del Rosario said they visited his father for Thanksgiving in the Suwanee, Georgia area and were on their way to California.
Del Rosario said after Thanksgiving dinner that Marin told them she had to go and drove alone in her car, a black Kia Forte.
On Monday, at the request of Marin’s family, the father filed a missing person report in Georgia.
