A lawsuit for more than $ 750 million was filed Tuesday on behalf of at least 125 Astroworld victims, including 21-year-old Axel Acosta, who was killed on the show.
10 people were killed and many more injured at the Houston rapper Travis Scott festival. Dozens of lawsuits have been filed against Scott and Live Nation Entertainment Inc. since then.
The lawsuit filed by the Buzbee Law Firm also lists rapper Drake, who joined Scott halfway through his Astroworld set, and Apple Music, who streamed the festival, as defendants.
“The victims that night went to Astroworld for fun,” the suit said. “Neither they nor their families have ever been warned that they were in an extremely dangerous situation.”
