‘Black Panther’ Sequel Pauses Production as Letitia Wright Continues Recovery – NBC 7 San Diego

The sequel to “Black Panther” will officially suspend production until next year after studio officials said the minor injuries actress Letitia Wright sustained on the set earlier this month were “much more serious”.
“As you all know, Letitia had a terrifying accident on our set during a stunt in August,” wrote Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Nate Moore of Marvel Studios in a message to the Black Panther cast and crew: Wakanda Forever on Friday, NBC News confirmed.
“What we initially thought were minor injuries turned out to be much more serious as Letitia suffered a critical shoulder fracture and a concussion with severe side effects.”
Due to their injuries and long recovery, the producers said they would resume filming with Wright in January 2022.
