Keith Urban, Iron Maiden to perform, separately, at San Diego’s largest outdoor concert venue in 2022

Australian country rock star Keith Urban and English heavy metal mainstays Iron Maiden will be giving concerts in the same month at San Diego’s largest open-air concert venue, the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater.
Urban will perform in the nearly 20,000-seat hall on September 9th, while Iron Maiden will perform there on September 25th.
Urban’s concert here is part of his “The Speed of Now World Tour 2022”, for which Ingrid Andress will appear as the opener. The tour begins June 17th in Tampa and ends November 5th in St. Paul.
The Iron Maiden concert here is part of the band’s “Legacy of the Beast World Tour 2022”, whose opening act will be Trivium. The tour begins on September 11th in El Paso and ends on October 27th in Tampa.
The confirmation of Urban and Iron Maiden’s tours on Wednesday follows the recent announcement of two more concerts in 2022 at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater: Tears For Fears, with Garbage, on June 5; and Morgan Wallen with Hardy on September 15th.
Tickets for Tears For Fears ranging from $ 29.50 to $ 285.50 plus service fees are now available on livenation.com. Tickets for Wallen’s concert for $ 49.50 to $ 299.50 plus service fees will also be sold on Friday at 10 a.m. on livenation.com.
Tickets for Urban’s San Diego concert and its other tour dates in 2022 will go on sale on December 10 at 10:00 a.m. on livenation.com and cost between $ 30 and $ 129.75 plus service fees. Tickets for the Iron Maiden concert and the band’s other 2022 tour dates will go on sale on December 10 at 10:00 a.m. on livenation.com and cost between $ 35 and $ 124.50 plus service fees.
The Iron Maiden concert here on September 25th marks the second appearance in San Diego in 2022 for the band’s lead singer, Bruce Dickinson. Tickets for his spoken word performance “An Evening with Bruce Dickinson” on February 28th at the Balboa Theater are available now on ticketmaster.com. The first half of the evening is devoted to the 63-year-old singer’s memories and anecdotes about his life and career, while the second half is devoted to an audience Q&A.
