SAN DIEGO (AP) – Emilio Martinez ran 104 yards, Terrence Smith had a short touchdown run, and Isaac Haney had a key interception when San Diego Morehead State hosted 10-3 in the Pioneer Football League game. A 40-yard field goal from Andrew Foster gave Morehead State a 3-0 lead after a quarter. Brandon Eickert scored a 23-yard field goal early in the second quarter to even draw San Diego at halftime. The only touchdown drive of the game came after the toreros made second possession in the third quarter. Mason Randall led an 11-game, 85-yard drive that culminated with Smith’s 1-yard scoring run, giving San Diego a 10-3 lead with 4:20 in the quarter.
