It’s the best time of the year, and those looking for family-friendly entertainment over the holiday season can consider SeaWorld San Diego’s seasonal celebrations.
The park’s annual Christmas party is back, featuring a cirque show, twinkling lights to match the twinkle in the eyes of visitors, and a 9-meter-long Christmas party in Christmas decor. To add to the seasonal feel, the lights of the tree have been synchronized with eight Christmas carols for visitors to watch.
Celebrating a White Christmas isn’t exactly easy for most San Diego residents, but they can indulge in the magic of Christmas with snowfall in SeaWorld’s Jingle Bell Square. A Sesame Street show is also held for the little ones. It will be full of songs and dances with its popular characters for families to join in.
Once the appetite has matured, visitors can decorate and nibble sugar cookies themselves under the guidance of Cookie Monster, while the adults enjoy a glass of wine or seasonal cocktails.
In addition to the festivities, Santa Claus will be in the park so that the children can share their Christmas wishes. Meanwhile, Mrs. Claus will read fairy tale books to the children.
“Christmas and the holiday season have taken over SeaWorld, enabling our guests to experience the wonders of SeaWorld in spectacular new ways with breathtaking light shows, Christmas cheer and fun experiences throughout the park,” said John Dunlap, SeaWorld San Diego Park President, in a press release .
Aside from the Christmas celebrations, the park also celebrates Hanukkah with the nightly lighting of a menorah until December 6th.
SeaWorld’s Holiday Celebration runs through January 2, 2022, with tickets starting at $ 69.99. For more information on seasonal activities or to purchase tickets, click here.
