Adele announced the one celebrity she has yet to meet and the answer might surprise you!
During a makeup video with beauty influencer NikkieTutorials, the 33-year-old music icon raved about recently meeting Oprah Winfrey for an interview during her “Adele One Night Only” special on CBS.
“She’s so normal,” Adele said of Winfrey. “No, for real. It was wild.
“My friend came with me to the site. The interview was fantastic and then we had lunch with her and all that and it was so normal. ? It’s f — ing Oprah! ‘”
“I can’t remember never not knowing Oprah,” she said, adding, “It was just phenomenal. Yes, she’s the nicest woman.”
NikkieTutorials, whose real name is Nikkie de Jager, then asked if there was anyone Adele admired but had not yet met.
“Someone I’ve never met who I think I would actually cry is The Rock, but I know he’s now calling Dwayne Johnson,” Adele said. “I was the biggest wrestling fan when I was younger.”
Johnson made a sweet gesture to the singer after he and his wife were recently unable to attend one of their shows.
“He sent me flowers the other day because he and his wife couldn’t do my show,” she said. “I literally fell off my chair.”
But her love for him is strictly platonic.
“Oh, yeah, it’s not like I have a crush or anything,” she said. “He is unbelievable. He’s just amazing. I just want him to be my buddy. I want him to be my friend. “
