It’s been a busy week in the San Diego food and drink scene. The prestigious Michelin Guide awarded coveted stars to four local restaurants, while a chain of hot chicken eateries supported by rapper Drake continued its expansion in San Diego. Eater San Diego shares these stories and other top food news of the week.

Addison and Jeune and Jolie among the winners of the local Michelin Guide

Incidentally, John Resnick, the owner of Jeune et Jolie in Carlsbad, joined the conversation on our podcast scene in San Diego last year to talk about Jeune et Jolie’s outdoor dining area at the height of the pandemic. In addition to the impact of the pandemic on the restaurant industry, Resnick spoke about Jeune et Jolie’s mission to deliver a memorable dining experience – and the restaurant’s dreams for the Michelin star.
