While IHOP has long been known for its “Come hungry, go happy” slogan, customers in selected locations could soon go more than happy.

The breakfast giant introduced its new menu “Bubbles, Wine & Brews”, which includes mimosas and wines from Barefoot as well as Bud Light, Blue Moon, Corona and local beers.

Three restaurants in San Diego and New Mexico will be the first to offer the new menu, with expansions planned in New York, Rhode Island, Maryland and Ohio in the coming months.

While the takeaway drinks menu grew in popularity during the pandemic, IHOP’s drinks are only available for dinner.

The move comes after the restaurant chain’s “Drinks and Dining Survey” indicated that younger diners were “asking for an alcoholic drink next to their plates,” IHOP President Jay Johns said in a press release.

“As we continue to focus on and expand our menu options of the day and dinner, adult beverages are a great innovation and advancement to enjoy IHOP for any occasion,” said Johns.

The kitchen team has put together a list of possible combinations, including a Barefoot Bubbly Brut Mimosa with the Original French Toast or a Corona Extra with the Spicy Poblano Omelette.
